The Montclair Neighborhood Farmers Market started with a simple idea: what if neighbors could share more than just a wave over the fence? In 2008, a handful of Montclair residents partnered with local farmers and artisans to bring a weekly gathering place to the heart of Omaha's near north side.
Today, that gathering has grown into one of Omaha's most beloved neighborhood institutions — a place where you can pick up a basket of sun-warmed tomatoes from a farmer who knows your name, discover a new favorite honey from a local apiary, and run into friends you didn't know you had.
